REVIEWS
“The Casa Theatre Festival is an admirable undertaking crouching expectantly in the stylishly rundown warehouse space of the Union Theatre. Aiming to bring Latin American theatre to a London audience, and to provide a place for new work and popular classics from the culture to be performed, there is no doubt that the organisers of the festival have created a valuable and enriching asset for the London theatre community... The Casa Theatre Festival is a fantastically rich theatre project.” 4 STARS What's on Stage
“Casa Theatre and the people behind the marvellous Union have bought an intriguing mix of Latin American drama into London’s innovative fringe and opened a window onto some new and exciting writers and actors. I’ll be off to catch the third play as soon as I can.” 5 STARS Reviewsgate
“The experience of exile is the unofficial theme for this year’s Casa Latin American Theatre Festival, though artistic director Daniel Goldman has chosen three plays (shown as alternating double bills) as divergent in style and mood as their national origins.” 3 STARS Time Out
“We must all be grateful to Daniel Goldman for bringing this understated but very moving play from Ecuador to our shores. Our Lady in the Clouds suggests that there is a great source of un-mined theatre in South America and we must hope that pioneers like Daniel Goldman and the Casa team continue to introduce them to us.” - British Theatre Guide
