ENSEMBLE THEATRE - AN INTRODUCTION
Weekend Intensive: 16/17 Jan
10am - 6pm, St Gabriels Halls, Pimlico
Starting from group games and ending with chorus acting, we will explore the incredibly vast scope of opportunities and potential that the ensemble can on the stage. As a group, you will research into the dynamics that are involved in the creation of a common physical and emotional space, on the rules and resources that the group has to develop in order to work as a whole, and on the process of collective creation and acting on a larger scale. As individuals, you will learn to participate and enhance your performing skills as part of a group, gaining valuable insight on the processes that are essential to exploit the shared dramatic space.
This is a practical workshop led by Daniel Goldman, Artistic Director of Tangram and Omar Elerian, Associate Artist, and is suitable for all theatre practitioners (actors, writers, directors, designers) of all levels and experiences.
